Tübinger Tor

The “Tübinger Tor” can be found at the end of the “Katharinenstraße” at the central bus station. The gate was built between 1220 and 1240. The half-timbered superstructure was not added until 1330. It once served as the main gate of the medieval fortifications, of which other attractions such as the “Garten Tor” or the “Zwinger” are still standing. On the outside of the "Tübinger Tor", in the trefoil, there is a late Gothic crucifixion group.
